International Business Company Formation, Inc. is located in the historic district of Tappan, New York, approximately thirty minutes from midtown Manhattan.

Tappan was a regional capital before New Amsterdam, then under control of the Netherlands, was transformed into New York under the British. During the Revolutionary War, Tappan was the site of the Major John Andre imprisonment, trial and hanging. Major John Andre of the British Army, was conspiring with Benedict Arnold and found to possess the plans to West Point. Tappan was where the Orangetown Resolutions were written. This document was written before the Declaration of Independence and is considered as an inspiration for the Declaration Of Independence. General Washington maintained his headquarters in Tappan several times during and after the Revolutionary War.
